Why Tidy Bloom is local-first and avoids forced ads

Tidy Bloom keeps progress on the iPhone and avoids forced ads or energy timers so the botanical sliding puzzle stays calm.

Tidy Bloom is designed as a local-first iPhone puzzle. Progress such as completed shelves, streaks, theme choice, moves, and local history is saved on the device in the current version.

What stays on the iPhone?

The app keeps puzzle progress, Daily history, streaks, selected theme, move counts, and elapsed time in local storage. There is no Tidy Bloom account or cloud game-history service to sign in to.

Removing the app, resetting the device, or changing device storage can remove local progress. Support can help diagnose a problem, but it cannot retrieve a server copy that does not exist.

What does the website handle?

The companion website publishes product information, support, privacy terms, FAQs, and a small health API. Cloudflare may retain standard technical request logs for security and reliability, but the website does not store player progress or payment details.

That choice fits the product: a cozy sliding puzzle should feel quiet, quick to start, and easy to return to. It does not need an account or cloud game history to make the current version useful.

How is Pro different from a subscription?

The same philosophy applies to monetization. Tidy Bloom avoids forced ads, energy timers, and pressure loops. Unlimited Undo is free. Pro is an optional one-time unlock for Story shelves 11–60, Daily history, Practice, and premium themes.

If the app later adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or other server features, the privacy policy and public site will be updated before those claims go live.
